CHARACTER NAME; Iori Minase
AGE; 15
CANON; The Idolm@ster
CANON POINT; Anime | Post Episode 25
FAMILY TYPES; Nature Spirits, Wind Guardians, and Jungle Troopers
APPEARANCE; Right here Iori has long light brown hair that she keeps held back with a headband, parting it to the left side. Her eyes are brown and she stands at about five feet tall (153 cm).
She has a vast wardrobe like any rich girl would but her clothes are all pink colored with some accents of white and black. She has a lot of skirts and dresses but she's worn shorts before as well.
PERSONALITY; Iori, honestly, at first glance, might be written off as a spoiled brat by someone who doesn't know her very well. She was born into a rich and influential family and for her becoming an idol was just a phonecall away, her dad is friends with the producing company's president. Sometimes she can act stuck up and she also loves being the center of attention. She has a bad habit of being abrasive towards people she cares about, in particular, the Producer. Iori admits to caring about him when he's not around, but to his face, she acts cold and aloof. On the other hand, towards her fans and people she doesn't care about, she puts on a pretty good "perfect angel" act. When things don't go her way, she has a tendency to act out instead of admitting she might have done something wrong, though if scolded enough she'll fall back into place.
Iori also tends to act like an adult when she's actually quite childish. She'll take charge of situations even though she's not quite sure what she should be doing. Iori will also decide things are childish and refuse to participate even though she's a child herself and a lot of her mannerisms are still quite childish. A lot of this comes from her home life. She has two older brothers and a father that don't believe that she has what it takes to be an idol. Therefore she feels the need to act adult like to show up her family. She's even mentioned in passing conversation that she won't talk to her brothers on the phone until she's become a top idol. It's also worth mentioning that Iori constantly carries around a stuffed bunny, named Charles, so as much as she denies her childhood it's pretty obvious that she's still experiencing it.
While Iori at times may just seem like another spoiled tsundere character, that's far from being all she has to offer. Iori's actually a really kind person. In one episode, she spends a whole day helping her best friend, Yayoi, take care of her brothers and sisters. She even gives advice to Yayoi's brother and the two connect pretty well, showing that she does have the ability to sympathise with others. Speaking of Yayoi, most people wouldn't suspect it because Iori comes from a rich family and Yayoi is dirt poor, but the two are actually best friends. While Iori doesn't always understand Yayoi's "commoner lifestyle," she fully supports and admires her best friend and she never looks down on her for being poor.

Episode summaries
Honestly, idolmaster characters don't have a lot of background history. They're cute girls that dance and sing so they come from modern japan and they've had fairly regular lives. I think the only thing that's not mentioned in those links is that Iori's father and two brothers both think that Iori can't become an idol and I touched on that in the personality section.

[ A video feed clicks on to show a very angry girl. Despite being fairly young and holding a stuffed animal of all things, she looks incredibly frustrated. ]
L-Look here, whovever's listening! You can't just throw me in some kind of weird world and expect me to participate! You'll all pay! I'll call the police, they won't stand for this! Kidnapping an idol is way worse than just kidnapping some ordinary girl! I'm sure of that!
[ Her gaze shifts downwards for a minute or so, and the muttering of another voice can be heard, though it's form cannot. After that, Iori addresses the feed again. ]
While I'm at it, why won't this thing stop following me? It's not cute at all! It'll ruin my image! Is it supposed to be some kind of weird pet or something? It keeps on telling me that I have to stay here to save something, but I'm not a hero! I just want to go home... Ryuugu Komachi needs me.
